Jannet Edison Southerland
Sales Associate
Jannet Edison Southerland is a woman of determination, and
perseverance. Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, she comes
from a background where hard work is expected. She is a
multitasker, in every sense of the word; juggling multiple
entities on a daily basis.
Receiving her Bachelors in Nursing from Wayne State
University and her Masters Degree in Administration from
Central Michigan University, she hit the ground running in
pursuit of a career in the medical profession which would
catapult her into other endeavors, she’s always dreamed of.
Along with being a nurse, she owns an Event Planning
business (JanPlans), and is also a Realtor. She’s worked with
celebrity clients, and was featured on Bravo TV for an event
she did for a cast-mate of the reality show Married To
Medicine. She was inducted into Who’s Who In Black Atlanta,
the 2016 Edition. She works in the media/production
department for her church, New Birth Cathedral; and is the
Events and Community Partnerships Manager for their gym,
Samson Health and Fitness Center. She is also a member of
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
She’s been a nurse 33 years, working in many aspects,
including management. She recently served on the Kaiser
Permanente Research Advisory Board.
Her favorite bible verse is Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift
makes room for him and brings him before great men”
